Privacy Policy
The short version
Podium Notes keeps everything on your device. There are no accounts, no servers, no ads, and no tracking. It doesn't collect your personal information or send anything about you anywhere. It's just a place to write your notes and present them.
What Podium Notes stores, and where
Podium Notes saves a few things on your device so the app works the way you'd expect: the notes you write, including their titles and text; any PDFs you import, which are copied into the app's storage; and your settings, such as your theme, focus band, display font, and where you last left off scrolling in a note. This information is kept locally on your iPhone or iPad. It isn't uploaded to any server, and the developer never sees it.
Bringing in content from other apps
When you import a text file, share a note from Apple Notes, or open a PDF, that content is copied into Podium Notes on your device so you can present it. Nothing is sent anywhere in the process — the copy simply lives in the app until you delete it.
Spell check runs on your device
The optional spell check uses Apple's built-in checking that runs entirely on your device. Your text is not transmitted anywhere to be checked.
No accounts, no tracking, no analytics, no ads
Podium Notes has no sign-up and no login. It includes no third-party analytics or advertising tools, sets no tracking identifiers, and shows no ads. Because there's no account and nothing is collected, there's nothing for Podium Notes to sell or share — and it doesn't.
This website
This page is part of a simple, static website. It doesn't use tracking cookies, doesn't run third-party analytics, and doesn't collect personal information from visitors.
Your control over your data
Because everything lives on your device, you're always in control. Deleting a note removes it, and deleting the app removes everything Podium Notes has stored, including your notes, imported PDFs, and settings. There's no separate request to make of the developer, because the developer never had your data in the first place.
Children's privacy
Podium Notes isn't directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect personal information from anyone. Since the app collects no personal information at all, this holds true for people of every age.
Changes to this policy
If Podium Notes' data practices ever change — for example, if a future version handles information in a new way — this page will be updated and the "last updated" date above will change to reflect it.
